When I accused this bird of showing off she offered up some nonsense about resting her other leg. When I suggested that if she stood on both legs, each leg would only have to carry half her weight, she said: "but then, both legs would get tired at the same time and I'd have to fly for a rest --and then my wings would be sore." You just can't tell some birds anything.

@Amir: I just wish I could get a teleconverter for use with this lens. I'm thinking about doing more wildlife oriented photography, and the alternative is to spend like $4,000 on another lens.
