Twelvebit, I really like your work too, Nikon yeah!!....Your post processing is interesting, do you see the final result in your head when you take the original shot?
Catchlight, I didn't catch your reply until today. I wish I could say I always see the final result in my head when I take the original shot. I'm working towards that kind of foresight but I'm not there yet. At this point it's a mix. Sometimes --maybe 30% of the time-- I process to duplicate the mood of the scene as I saw it, as most of the time, the straight photo does not reproduce the feeling I had when I took it. Most of the time --maybe 60%-- I process to get something I didn't see or think of when I took the original shot; or, I simply change my mind about what I want after reconsidering the image. At this point I'd say I only see the image I want in my head, one that is different that what I see or "feel" in front of me, about 10% of the time.
