Austin is my favorite Texas city. One reason is attitude. For example, you see any number of cars displaying a bumper sticker that says: "Keep Austin Weird." In that vein I wish I could say this photo is just another night in Austin, but it's not. 6th street is closed off to traffic on Halloween and becomes a big indoor-outdoor party of costumed revelers. And with the 50,000 plus student University of Texas at Austin just a few blocks away, there is no shortage of revelers.
