Thanks all. Yes, the 4 bright lights are an approaching car. The camera was a Kodak DX7590 --given to my son since acquiring my Nikon D80. I wanted to capture some sense of these luminarias so I laid on the ground until a car came by. The straight shot didn't have the balance I wanted so I tweaked levels to get a version with more detail in the foreground and used Photomatix hdr software to combine the different versions.

@Ming Img: Ming --Bad Santa is a movie about a guy that plays Santa at malls that he robs on Christmas. There is a scene in the movie about these luminarias.
Good composition! If u let the shutter prolong, u get light trail!

@Mazrul: Mazrul, that's a good idea. I was lazy. I took the shot in automatic mode, hand held, and didn't bother with a tripod.
