A pay phone at a highway restaurant and gas station on Interstate 10. The phone location was about as far away from the restaurant and gas pumps as you could get.

@Shar: Shar, what drew me originally was the color. I was getting gas and walked across the lot to take a photo with my little pocket camera. When I looked at the images on the computer I felt that this shot had a little bit of weirdness to it. It does suggest the isolation of the phone, but the plants behind it also don't look quite real to me --perhaps because of the artificial lighting.
You don't see many of these in the USA any more. Great colors.
