Roundtop Antique Fair: Image 1
This is the first image I plan to post from a series of shots I took at the Roundtop Antique Fair. The Antique Fair at Roundtop, Texas, occurs twice each year –Spring and Fall. The promoter claims that there are "350 dealers from 39 states and Canada." It's big. Vendors line both sides of State Highway 237 for at least a mile. Parking is in large open fields along the highway. Shoppers must exercise caution when crossing from one side of the fair to the other through an ever-flowing stream of vehicles.

@Rags: Ah, Plano. Thanks for the kind words.
How pretty...did you buy one?

@Shar: No, I didn't buy anything there. I was tempted to buy a Louie Armstrong figure that sang "It's a Wonderful World," but it seemed a little pricey. My wife was supposed to be the buyer, I went to take photos and try out my new camera --though she didn't buy anything either. We did have fun walking around though.
Very nice capture...love the colors and the composition! Excellent!
