Another shot from the Rountop Antique Fair. No particular criticism is intended for this object, but in general, it is amazing to see what people will make, and presumably, what people will buy.
The reaction of people to the photographer is also interesting at times. I was framing a shot of some rather pedestrian yard art on display from one vendor, but looking through my camera lens I decided that there was nothing distinguished enough to make a picture and passed on. He called out to me that he would prefer I "didn't do that." The "that" turned out to be take a photo of his work.
The law was on my side, of course, but since I hadn't taken a photo, I told him so, hoping to defuse his anger. The logic behind his concern continues to escape me. Apparently the concept of advertising, or just simple customer relations, eludes him.
