Taken in the old downtown area of Victoria. I liked the benches. I liked the house. I liked that no people were around. Something about this scene, perhaps the positioning of the benches, makes me wonder: does anyone sit here or are these benches mostly for decoration?

Nice one, I love it, so peaceful, feels like I'm there. I hope people enjoy these chairs and that they're not just a decoration, I would.

@Nadine: Thank you. Of course, I don't really know. I don't pass by this house very often.
Cool perpectives! I can imagine a bride and the contrast =)

@WendyTsang.com: Thank you. If there were people in this shot, a bride, in white, just might be the perfect addition.
Beautiful. Great shooting angle and I love the Victorian feel.

@Evie: Oops. Forgot to hit that reply icon again.
Thank you. Ok, I "cheated" a little bit on the angle. I actually shot this standing up, but the house sits up behind a retaining wall so the ground is almost at shoulder level.

I like this shot , I can almost see the ghostly images of people from the past sitting there drinking tea and wearing their Sunday best , the Men in their Bowlers and the women with their fans enjoying the day
