A Day by the Bay Image 6
I wish I had what is sort of the "next" image taken after the one I posted yesterday, but I'm out of town and have only what I brought with me to keep up daily postings. The image I'd like to post shows pelicans like the ones yesterday lined up across several buildings along a boat channel. Oh well, I'll get to it later in the week. In the meantime, another pelican shot for Viewfinder.

@Josh: Thank you. I love the way these birds look when they're taking off and landing, but especially when they're landing.
Love the way you've captured the shot, but especially the pelican on the left coming into land :)

@MaryB: Thank you. These birds look pretty cool when they've got their big web feet down. But there is something spectacular in just the fact of a big bird like this being graceful enough to land on the rigging of a boat.
Great perspective and POV on this shot. I love your pelicans! :)

@Carson: Thank you. They've created sort of a dilemma for me. I took a lot of pelican shots that day and I could be posting pelican shots for a month. I'll probably post a few more though.
