Which Way

I gave this one the title of "Which Way," but it could just as well be "Right/Left" or "Can't Go Straight," or "Must Choose," or "Two Choices." It's possible to read in all kinds of symbolism. I wonder, though, is it really possible without this sign to think you can drive straight ahead at this intersection, even at night?
