Cows are strange creatures. Often timid, sometimes bold. The cows around scattered when I stopped to take a photo of some hay bales, but this one wandered back to the fence and acted quite irate.

I like the angle that you shot this at, showing the wires of the fence, really gives you the feeling of either being penned in or out, not sure which?

@shar: Thank you. Normally, I would get up to the fence and shoot through it so it didn't show. But really, inside the fence, behind the wire, is the reality; and if you see cattle outside a fence around here, they're not supposed to be there, and may well be a threat both to themselves and traffic. I also liked the copse of trees middle ground and the hay bales in the background. BTW, something isn't working with the link off your name, making it harder to just go right to your photos.
