One of my first outings with my first DSLR. While waiting to meet up with my son and his girlfriend, who are attending the University of Texas, I was wandering around in the general vicinity of the campus taking photos. I live in the burbs so I don't often get the opportunity to cruise the urban landscape with a camera in my hand.

@Daroru: Thank you. I toyed with this one: color, B&W, hdr, no hdr, cropped, uncropped. It was cold when I took this shot --well, cold for Austin anyway-- in the low 40's I think, and a little damp. In the end i felt this version conveyed that physical mood better than the others.
