Victoria Public Library in the foreground, and as you might be able to read in the shot, the Wells Fargo Building in the background. I tinkered with this shot in color and B&W, finally deciding that the image was about form, and B&W worked best.

Hi, it's me from Texas. You can read my reply to your recent comment on my blog. Thanks for answering my HDR question as well. I love this B&W, it has that distinctive grain (noise) that gives it a unique character.
By the way, where is Victoria? If I recall correctly, you said southern Texas! so I should rule out, near Canadian Victoria, lol, right?

@Amir: Thank you. The grain was actually the unintentional product of using a 400 ISO. It might have detracted from another shot, but I think the natural "grain" of the stone in these buildings is complimentary.
Victoria is just about half-way between Houston and Corpus Christi. And you don't get used to the humidity --at least I never have after living in South Texas for about 30 years. But the worst of it only last about three months, maybe four, and the rest of the year, the climate is rather temperate.
Nice shot there ! I like the geometry of the building contrasted by the "natural" feel with the tree and the moon

@Hamster: Thanks for the very interesting comment. I had only looked at the image in terms of texture and geometry and hadn't considered the contrast between nature and man.
