Black Bird

Posted by Twelvebit (Victoria, United States) on 3 September 2007 in Animal & Insect.

The title just about sums up my ornithological knowledge. I can spot a vulture, cardinal, blue jay, a robin, and a sparrow (and of course some things like humming birds, sea gulls, bald eagles, and flamingos), but after that I'm pretty much out of answers. I'm not sure what kind of bird this is, but I'm pretty sure it's got something pretty close to black feathers. Again, here, I'd just gotten my DSLR and was walking around town taking photos to try it out.
