I think I had originally titled this as some version of "Monarch," but I seem to remember seeing a butterfly like this on someone else's blog here at Animus, and discovering it was something else. Unfortunately, I can't remember what.

By the way I am a Biologist and can tell you with 90% certainty that your butterfly is not Monarch as your suspected. Monarchs are very large, I mean really large insects. Good work.

@Amir: A biologist. Interesting. My oldest son is studying biology. I looked at your Anime link. Also interesting, as this same son is an avid Anime fan as well. BTW, are you originally from Lebanon? I made a friend from Lebanon at my previous job. He was going to get his PhD in engineering and ended up going back to Lebanon instead --but we still exchange email now and then.
