This picture was taken in my backyard, right here in South Texas --between Houston and Corpus Christi. A couple of years ago it actually snowed on Christmas. This would be just another winter day up in the Northeast, but here, this could be a once in a lifetime shot. In some forty years of living in South Texas, this is the only time I know of that snow has accumulated like this so far south.

Wow! l love the dogs silhouette against the snow! the snow looks quite deep!

@MaryB: Thank you. Around 8" or so I'd guess. It stayed around for a couple of days too. The one and only accumulation of snow I've seen in South Texas during my lifetime.
