My dog is Hamlet, and of course, he is the dog in the foreground. He couldn't be the dog in the background because the dog in the background --my wife's dog, Napoleon-- is not a Great Dane. I recently got a Nikon SB800 flash for my camera and was trying it out here in this photo.

@Barbara: I'm an incorrigible animal and dog lover, so yes, and thank you.
So this is you Great Dane. Awesome and peaceful. He is a mighty dog and love his coat color. He looks to be few years old. I like this angle. Is this the result of your new flash system?
BTW, I got you email and will reply to it soon. Thanks for your time.

@Amir: Thank you. He's also visible here.
Sorry, I haven't been able to check my mail or respond to comments for the last couple days. We got him from the pound and I am deeply troubled whenever I happen to contemplate how he may have been abused before we knew him, by whomever dumped in on some road somewhere. When we brought him home he only weighed 100lbs. His normal weight now is about 135lbs. He is so very sweet and trusting that I wish no good for anyone who ever abused him.
Oh yeah, so far, I am very impressed with the Nikon SB 800 flash.
he seems helpless in this shot... ;)

@Kheoh Yee Wei: More irritated, I think, that I kept taking photos with my flash.
These two look so comfortable 12B!! The flash seems to work well.

@Bron: The flash is great. I'm not a fan of on camera flash, but I was very impressed with this flash unit.
The dogs eyes is saying we are so faithful!

@Mahyar: And he is. He is truly a good friend. A sweet and loving animal.
