Same junkyard, different approach.

OK, now this is awesome. I really like it. You took a regular HDR and converted it to grayscale. Gives it an old look. Lovely. If you find a well kept Chevy truck of same are it would cost a fortune. I have seen some yellow and red ones go for 50 big ones.

@Amir: Thank you. You know, I did this awhile back and I can't remember for sure, but, actually, I don't think it did it in HDR and converted to greayscale: I believe I simply slid the saturation slider all the way down to zero in Photomatix --though I have tried this on some photos without draining all the color.
Great image, I like what you have done here.

@See The Light: Thank you.
This reminds me of the 'solarisation' effect in the darkroom. Its a great textural piece, and those old pickups look fantastic worked on like that.

@Richard_Irwin: Thank you. I was actually shooting for a more traditional B&W look but that's not what the process produced and I decided I liked it this way.

@rem_la: Merci, et les mercis de l'arrêt près.
Here the B&W gives the cars a dreamy look. Very well done!!! I think it turns your questions upside down now. :-)

@Teresa: Thank you. This particular image just didn't do anything for me in color.
