If you call the 70-300 mm cheapo, what should I say about my gears. I think is awesome and the DOF is perfect, keeping the pigeon out of focus.

@Amir: Look at the prices of long lens like that. I paid $129 for this lens, brand new. It was so cheap relative to other long lenses that I was skeptical about the quality, and probably would not have bought it if it wasn't made by Nikon. It has its flaws, but for the money, I have no complaints. Thank you. The image is a little soft here, but most of that is due to the loss of sharpness from downsizing, not the lens or focus.
