Like Joe B, who "collects" photos of shopping carts, I have been "collecting" photos of fire hydrants. I don't know why exactly. I got started because one of the first photos I took with my new DLSR was of a fire hydrant, and the image was fairly well received at JPG Magazine.

@JoeB: Thanks. I don't have so many to make it every Sunday; and then, this Sunday is "graffiti day."
I love the colours and DoF 12Bit! And the light is perfect too!

@Bron: Thank you. It was taken during the "magic hour." Usually I'm stuck with taking photos at midday.
This one is also very well done. The light, the texture, the color all are superb
