People look like toys in this image, very good candidate for Tilt-Shift processing, lovely

@Amir: Thanks. I wonder about the tilt-shift though since most of the detail in this image is in the same focal plane. It seems like a tilt-shift image needs to have a well defined/detailed foreground, middleground, and background.
Like the repetition here - nice silhouettes and the color of the water is magnificent!

@Ina: Thank you. I think the water color is primarily the result of a shallow bottom and a lot of suspended sediment.
You do a really good job with your composing. This is very nice.

@Gary: Thank you. Confession: this image originally included a part of the pier running along the left edge of the frame. It seemed like a good composition at the time but looking at the images on the computer I decided it just didn't work and cropped it out.
The jacket really stands out, great shot.

@JoeB: The jacket is a detail I didn't notice when I took the photo. I was only trying to get a balance I liked between the figures on the pier. The life jacket was something I noticed in post-processing that set this image apart from the others.
Beautiful shot–composition, color–it all works.

@Carson: Thanks. I wasn't satisfied with the sky at first but after a little fiddling I decided the understatement and lack of detail worked best.
I like the composition and color contrast.
