Never seen this kind of insect !

@Inés: I don't know if these exist in Europe. They're a strange insect. I've read that they gestate in the ground for seven years. They make a Hell of a racket on summer nights with a chirping that is similar to, but much louder, than a cricket.
When did you take this, I remember them being around the summer of 2002.

@Bob: I took this week's shot last summer --2007. I don't know just how that seven year thing works because I have a dim recollection that I hear Cicada's every summer --but maybe I just haven't been paying attention.
