OK, after a week full of Cicada photos I'll guess I'll lay off this particular subject for awhile --unless I just see some irresistible Cicada images coming together somewhere out there in the world.

They seem to travel, their not very attractive looking now I can't see how anyone would eat them.

@JoeB: The mystery to me is how the one on the strings got there? The are supposed to come out of the ground. The wind chimes are hanging from the tree. He couldn't have climbed up from the bottom, so he would have had to climb out and down like he was descending a ladder.
This is a great series, 12bit - we're enjoying it immensely! :)
