It's funny what people leave behind when they abandon a building.

Nice image, great colors.

@See The Light: Thank you. The shot out of the camera actually had a rather strange color effect, due, I suppose, to the very warm sunlight near sunset. I set a white point on the boards to return the image nearer to what I remembered.
Good combination, the sun on the wood looks good.

@JoeB: This was taken close to sunset and all the images had a strange coloration (which I corrected here by setting a white point on the boards) and a luminescence.
Wonderful piccy, crispy and clean, earily unearthly, almost too perfect.

@Tim Ayers: Thank you. I tried to look at your images --which I presume exist-- but your name is greyed out and doesn't link.
abandoned places are definitely a treasure trove of interesting photo ops, this is proof. i like this photo a lot.

@Mortola: Thank you. I agree about abandoned places, but I rarely come across anything I can shoot without having to worry about being arrested or having my equipment confiscated.
I used to work in place where some people used to used chairs like that. If that chair could talk, could tell you things that amazed most of us.

@Amir: Me too, but that was a LONG time ago.
Eerie indeed. Love that blue sky too.
