I saw these houses on the road to Houston. I don't believe any of them were built at this site, or that anyone lived in them at this location. They looked to me like they had been moved to this site and "dumped." I wanted to explore them further, but they are apparently on some corporate owned land, and even though this location is sort of out in the middle of nowhere, a company representative was on me virtually before I got my camera out, and I had to confine my shooting to what I could capture from public property. I find very few opportunities to explore abandoned buildings in Texas --something I'd love to do more often.

What a story you've discovered, 12bit. That spectacular Texas sky dwarfs these abandoned human dwellings. Great shot!

That's not one but a bunch of houses.

@JoeB: Though only four are visible in this shot I think there were five houses there. They were just dropped haphazardly, brought in from somewhere else.
Awesome big fat clouds behind the houses. Not forgetting the blue sky too. Wonderful.
