I was experimenting with the little Nikon L11 that I sometimes carry around in my pocket (Tip: for pocket carry, keep the camera in a baggie so every nook and cranny doesn't get saturated with lint). It's often difficult to get good results with this camera, even in relatively good light. I suppose the small size and the fact that you must hold it up in front of you to see the LCD make it hard to keep the camera steady. I find I have to shoot an average of about four frames to get one that is satisfactory --more in dim light or at night. Still, given the cheap price and small size, it's a tradeoff I'm willing to make in order to be able to always have a camera with me.

You got a nice slightly psychedelic feel to the colours with it...

@Daroru: However it may look, no color adjustments were made on this one. I just did a little darkening to compensate for the flash.
Grain goes with certain objects, the colour on the drill has an alien effect. Slow shutter speed you must have nerves of steel or able to hold your breath for long periods of time.

@JoeB: The slow shutter speed was managed by two factors: 1) I braced the camera against a part of the trailer that held the digger; and 2) the flash froze the foreground image. This camera is very noisy at high ISO's, even 800, which I think is it's maximum --and at this ISO there is lots of noise in the low exposure parts of the image. A better way of saying this is that the 1 second parts of the image are noisy, but the part of the image hit with the flash is not. But then, considering these limitations, I only paid $100 for this camera.
