Snapped this with my Nikon L11 while waiting for the light to change.

hitchcock is back? Are those birds post treated? Whatever I like the dusk atmosphere of the picture and contrast between electric and warm light. Really nicely made

@Laurent: Thank you. Straight shot with just a little curves adjustment. The atmosphere is even more Hitchcokian just a little way from where this shot was taken and I need to get myself over there to take some shots before the winter (what little there is of it here) is over.
Pretty cool! It's amazing watching flocks of birds get ready to roost in the evening. One day I'll try to be at the right place at the right time with my camera. Maybe with a zoom though, don't want to get underneath them or anything...

@Daroru: Like I said to Laurent, there are even more birds lining up just a little further over from where this was shot. I need to get over there with my camera.
Wow, this is terrific, do they usually sit around in such numbers on those wires? Whatever it is, you done a great job capturing it! :)

@bm: Thanks. I can't say for certain if this is usual or not. However, I may just be unobservant, but I don't remember seeing birds in these numbers in previous years, and there are even more of them just a little ways off from this location.
