On the left side of this image is the boiler of an old steam power plant; on the right side is the building that houses the steam driven turbines. Small old turbine plants like this one are not very efficient by comparison with modern plants, but they still have their uses. This image is best viewed "large."

Wow, it's incredibly... beautiful. Which is weird. The color of the building is just really neat.

@greg: Thanks. To me it's a good illustration of how rough the images of this little pocket are in comparison to my DSLR.
I like a good industrial shot. And this is one.

@Gary: Thanks. I went back with my DSLR and took some other shots here that I'll probably be posting week after next. I'm going back, again, too, before we go back on daylight savings time. I got some shots I liked with the DSLR but I shot everything at 3200 ISO. I think there may be some views it is worth going back and setting up my camera on the tripod for.
