Yowser, wowser...surreal indeed. Lost in a dream. I like what you're doing with the selective focus - using a lensbaby or some other device? Anyway, it's cool! :)

@Carson: It might be interesting to experiment with a lensbaby --that would probably give me a little more predictive control since I could look through the lens and see what I was getting, but what I did here, and in the photo yesterday, was selectively apply the gaussian blur filter in Photoshop until I got what I wanted, after selectively cranking up saturation in Nikon Capture NX.
