All your industrial shots have a very dense atmosphere. The absence of workers makes the scenery almost spooky and unreal - I like this very much :-)

@MadScientist: That's an interesting way of looking at it --density. I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but now that you mention it and I think about it, I probably seek a certain amount of density in the frame whenever I'm taking photos. I guess I have an inclination to stuff an image with detail and tend to shy away from the simple sparse shots. Tune in next week for more of these shots using the tripod at low ISO.
Where did you take these images at? I work at an oil refinery and so many of your images are so familiar. I operated all the things you have illustrated. Are you an operator or steam engineer? If not how did you get to take these images? Waiting patiently to see more!

@Shar: You're gonna make me confess eh? Tune in next week for low ISO shots --some HDR, some not. I'm an engineer. I used to be a maintenance supervisor and operations supervisor at different power plants, but now I work on the transmission side of the electric utility industry. My office is on this plant's property but I don't work in the plant itself.
