I thought about cropping the bottom off of this one but I just liked the texture of the towers too much, especially the one on the left, and the cabling near the bottom edge in the middle.

I think that if you had cropped this image you would not get the feel of the height of these majestic towers. I understand the height of these towers but I wonder if the person off the street who is unfamiliar with this setting, realizes that they are probably 200 ft tall? Anyway, I have rambled enough...great shot, love the textures and cables too. What are you going to show us next?

@Shar: This week I will probably be posting mostly daylight shots taken in other areas of the plant property.
You really do make a good job of these night-shots. I have a D70 as my most-used camera and that, too, offers up some similar results but I am without your exciting industrial landscape!

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks. I'd like to find some more places like this but there is nothing else like it anywhere nearby.
Oppressive industrial image! I wouldn't crop it, you're right about the texture, and I agree with Shar about the feeling of scale. I might try straightening it a bit though.

@Daroru: I tried it at various angles, including some that might be considered "straight." One problem is that since the vertical lines are converging, whatever vertical is picked for straightening leaves the others at an angle. But the major problem is that straightening chops off parts of the image on the left and bottom. I shot have made some shots with more open space around these towers in order to compensate for such adjustments, but I didn't.
An awesome sight indeed!

@Craig: Thanks.
The exposure gives the lights the star effect, these towers are massive the gold colour makes them seem more cathedral.

@JoeB: Well, according to Lightwriter it's the small aperture that makes the star effect --in combination with the time, I suppose.
Awesome, looks like a spaceship!
