A mix of day and night shots this week. This image is a single frame HDR shot. The difference between the image with and without HDR processing is not great --but rather on the subtle side. Still, it added just a bit of tonal shifting that I found pleasing.

your series of night industrial photos is quite inspirational, i like how each image from the beginning of the series leading to this shot flows seamlessly, all are superbly composed and artistically shot, your use of hdr is how hdr should be.

@Mortola: Thank you very much. Initially my use of HDR was greatly overdone. I think I was looking for something transformative --but I don't think you can really make a bad image good with it, just a good image better). As I've used it more and tried other methods, I have started to look at it as more of a shortcut to longer alternative techniques. Some of the images I used HDR on in the past I now just fix with Nikon NX (using their "control points" that are essentially short cuts for layers).
At this point, I think if someone can confidently say "I like" (or don't like) "the HDR," that I've probably pushed it too far. If people have to ask "is this HDR?" or simply don't consider the possibility, it's probably been done right.
The crisp detail and colors are very pleasing as is the excellent composition.

@Shawna: Thank you. I looked at it with the color corrected, but not only did I like this version better, I felt it also was a better representation of the scene as I saw it.
The green light gives this a surreal look! I like it!
