Very good depth and detail on this one, I noticed how different it was to a digital image, it just has a look. Nice shot BTW.

@Mike: Thanks. Certainly different film stocks have different properties. One of the things I've been noticing, now that I have a higher resolution scanner, is how much grain is apparent in film, versus digital noise, at the same ISO. It seems, though, that it should be possible to process a digital image to imitate a given film look. I've seen filters for doing this with B&W images, and I suppose if I had more expensive software there would be similar color filters.
I really like the soft tones and natural color balance to this and you have caught the perfect moment, I’d say.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks. I guess the question is --is it the film, or the subject? I don't know the answer. I didn't make any color adjustments to the image. That itself begs the question of whether the scan is faithfully representing the color of the negative. Since I have no idea what the film gamut is, or how it fits the color space of the scanner/monitor gamut, I don't know whether true fidelity is even possible. I scanned it for a full histogram (no clipping) and used the scanner's automatic dust and scratch removal function.
great shot! i really like the light in this one too. nice composition and framing, most of all neat facial expressions you captured. i wonder what they're looking at.

@danthro: Unfortunately, I don't remember what they were looking at.
