@Anthony: Thanks. I liked the subject or I wouldn't have taken the shot, but I'm sort of surprised at how many comments it drew. But since my wife liked it too, I guess I should have known.
an excellent photo, a great find, what is this place? there has to be a reason why they painted this green.

@Mortola: It was a crumbling old building --I'd guess from the facade, built in the late 19th or early 20th century. I don't know what it was originally. In fact, I don't know what is was most recently used for, but my guess is that someone made it into a shop of some kind --gift, antique, etc-- but this town can't really support that kind of business. Just to the left was another crumbling building. Across the street were a couple of newly renovated buildings being used as a restaurant and antique shop --otherwise the street was nearly deserted.
Very cool. I love the texture and the little peek of real green from the tree.
