Birds of a Different Color

Posted by Twelvebit (Victoria, United States) on 15 May 2008 in Animal & Insect.

Since these two aren't flocking I guess they don't have to be birds of a feather. The black bird (not really --but mostly black and I don't know what kind of a bird he is) has something in his mouth, which is apparent even at this small size. What's not apparent, to me anyway, even in other closer shots where the image of what's in his beak is much larger, is what he's got.

I'm still behind with my viewing, but I want to thank those who have been leaving comments who I didn't respond to directly. This is turning out to be a hard month when it comes to posting and viewing photos, and responding to those who leave comments. And I probably won't have much opportunity to use a computer again until late next week, so I will be playing catch-up for the foreseeable future.

BTW, I got another image "published" at File Magazine. Seeing this one yesterday surprised me as they have used other images that I submitted long after I submitted this one.
