Wet Leaves

I recently found myself attending a meeting in Austin. Even though midday is usually not the best light for photography, when I'm out of town like this, and have some free time during the lunch hour, I often look for someplace to take photos. This day was an unusual and wonderful day. In the first place, right in the middle of May, it was a cool 70 degrees or so, with a nice breeze, instead of the usual 100 degrees with 100% humidity. And quite by accident I stumbled across some kind of portal that led me into a magic forest, right at the edge of downtown Austin.
