@sherri: Thanks. I drove by two or three times on various business trips thinking I needed to stop. Finally I drove by again at an inopportune time for photography, told myself it might not be here for a shot on another trip, and/or the light might be just as bad, and then turned around and came back. It was very hot --about 100 degrees-- and the surrounding grass was full of sticker burrs, but I still enjoyed myself.

How you kept the truck slightly blurred behind the in focus grass works well, it pushes it into the background. Great colors too.

@Observing: I shot it both ways --the foreground in focus as here, and the truck in focus. I liked this version better.

wonderful depth of focus here... love the slightly out of focus dump truck -- and your colors are truly radiant... which is great because i am a big appreciator of color! :)

great dof and processing. like the clarity of it, as strange as that sounds since most of it is blurred in the background.

@danthro: Yes, interesting in a way --something like 90% of the image is out of focus.

@lisa v: Thank you. Thought I knew what I wanted until I started processing, but in the last few days all of my images have seemed disappointing to me --guess it's a mood.
