Home MadePosted by Twelvebit (Victoria, United States) on 9 September 2008 in Cityscape & Urban. Well, this may not be the end of my B&W film scans, but it is the end of my B&W film scans taken in Bath, Somerset If I was there today, with my digital camera, I'd probably have nabbed a good hundred or so shots --at least. Back in my film days though, I barely managed a roll. Or, perhaps I simply ran out of flim. BTW, you might recognize this man as Tom Landry's British cousin. Check out these 70 year old color photos. I don't know how "amazing" they are, but some of them are pretty damn good. The site's author seems to think they're amazing just because they're in color, but I've got a bunch of my father's color slides taken before most of these and the Kodachrome has held up very well. I've see some pretty good color work from the 20's too, but they were made on glass, and couldn't be printed at the time --had to be viewed through a lightbox.
