I've begun my attempts to catch up viewing, blogging, and responding to comments. Some of my previously scheduled commitments for the week have disappeared as a result of Ike. Otherwise, the storm had very little effect around here --well, none actually-- except for all the work preparing (like boarding windows) and then reversing the preparations. Especially unpleasant is the fact the hurricanes don't have the courtesy to come around in the fall or winter when all the physical effort expended outside in preparation would be much more tolerable --I was losing about 3 lbs in just perspiration about every four hours.
I will still be throwing up old film scans for at least the rest of the week --mostly images from Scotland and England.
