@Ronnie 2¢: Thank you. I'm just getting to the point where I can get myself to ignore the blown out highlights when there is something that works in the rest of the image.

There is a "Lord of the Flies" feel to this image. The child on the left almost doesn't look real, instead she looks like a doll.

@bluechameleon: Interesting comment, as I was recently reading Stephen King's "Hearts in Atlantis," and The Lord of the Flies features prominently.
