Moth

Taken in Palmetto State Park. I'm just guessing this is a moth; and I don't know what kind of moth it is. There are supposedly something like 2,000 different moth species in North American and I don't know the names of any of them.

@Observing: I should probably cough up the money for some books on plants, insects, birds, and other animals native to Texas --that would reduce the effort a little.

@MadScientist: What I should probably do is cough up the money for some books on plants, animals, and insects native to Texas --that would narrow the search a little. I will eventually. Didn't see this guy at your link, though I did recognize some of the critters there.
