There's a nice feeling of chilly air and dampness in these shots, which contrasts well with the reds of the leaves.

Oh for a few oaks amongst the gum trees . A whole lot prettier. Very scruffy looking, gums. Those leaves look a bit like butterflies.

The leaves (leafs) just stand out in their colour, looks like they where dropped in via photoshop. Nice to see that America woke up on Tuesday, who's going to miss W. all the comedians.

Beautiful leaves and again captured brilliantly. But it is really an oak? Seems to me that these leaves are compound, what would be very unusual for an oak.

@MadScientist: What you say sort of makes sense when i think about what the Oak leaves I've seen look like. I know next to nothing about trees. I took this tree, and the others with these leaves posted a few days ago, to be Post Oaks, based on the bark and their location, so I just assumed Oak leaves. I was too lazy recently to look it up.
