Uncertain Memory

My plans for postings, including some ideas I had for Christmas photos, were disrupted by a rather long bout of illness. During the week of Christmas I had very little energy for blogging and none for taking photographs. By the time I started feeling better I was far behind in a number of other endeavors.

I shall try to restart again this week, thought I may not be as diligent about posting every day as I have been in the past. Thanks to those of you who commented on my last few images and those who have expressed their well wishes. I will attempt to respond to those, and previous comments, today, or in the next day or two at the latest.

I love the defocus technique that you've used here, makes for a poignant image.

@Julian Kilsby: I must confess, the de-focusing was a result of my autofocus screwing up. Normally I would delete a screw-up like that, but for some reason I didn't here, and when I came back to this set of photos I decided I actually like this one.

Feeling better but my motivation is slow in returning. Thanks for the kind sentiments. Once you excuse yourself from posting it's easier the next time. I've been thinking about what I want to do with this blog --what kind of images I want to post. Perhaps the daily discipline should not be the priority.
