We have some kind of white bird that looks like this. They stay with a herd of cattle and eat the flies off of them. Makes for a contented herd:-) Love the capture. Looks like someone is raising them as their herd:-)

@sherri: Those sound like Cattle Egrets. We have them here too. These Cranes are larger birds. You don't normally see them around here like this. They're migratory birds and I believe they're just taking a break.
The variety of your wildlife is really amazing. Light, tones, details - perfect.

@MadScientist: There is actually more variety than I've yet managed to show. For instance, I've yet to photograph a wild raccoon, possum, or turkey (though I came close last week on the turkeys).
