@Craig: This is sort of a perspective trick: there was actually no window in the wall, just the hole from the original window, and the window you see here is in a building behind this one.

Good grief I never noticed that, I was wondering why the pipework was in front of the window! Well spotted and thought out, I'd have missed that for sure. Oh and sorry, pointed you at the blogger version of mine instead of AM3!!

I was going to write how I like that compression of space and the flatness of your image, but that additional twist you mentioned in response to Craig's comment makes it really remarkable.
