Rock A Bye Motel Image 5: Office

@Daryl: I did have to work it a little --bring down the background behind the neon office sign and boost contrast a little in the reflections.

@Stephen Phillips: Wow, what a fine compliment. This office had windows on three sides. I shot through each window focused on the idea that I wanted that sign on the left that says "Night Bell" to be prominent in the image. That turned out not to matter much in the end --I often shoot thinking something is important only to discard the notion on further examination. I'm not very good at self-editing (especially in choosing my best shot from a series of shots) and had another shot picked out for "Office." But there was something about it I just didn't quite like so I went back and reconsidered my other images and finally accepted this one as the best of the bunch.

@grant: Thanks. Like I said to Stephen, I concentrated on getting the "Night Bell" sign into the shot and was hung up on the idea to the point that it hindered me in picking the best image.

@MadScientist: I took lots more but I don't think most of the others work at all. Maybe if I'd had grant's eye, but my compositional limitations didn't leave me with much else.
