Great gritty tones that I really like. I can't make my mind up if this is HDR or not, if it is then it's very well done indeed. I can't quite get my head around the angles, the steps in the foreground and the door appear straight but the building is sloping off, it's screwing with my brain! ;-)

@Craig@Random Ramblings: Well, it's not "true" HDR. It's just a single photo, but I created three images --avg, light, and dark, and processed it as an hdr image. Then I played around a little with the contrast. The angles are no doubt due to lens distortion which I did not correct.
great shot, i agree it does look liek a drawing. i need to get into these 'semi-hdrs', nothing so intense that the tonal range distracts from the form and the frame, but instead reflects what would be considered great post-processing. well done

@SKHallisey: Thanks. I think the hdr process can be used as a quick substitute for layers and other adjustments --which is, I guess, essentially what you're doing when you process off a single frame.
