@Linerberry: I think I'm going to stop using that 2x teleconverter though --too much detail is lost.

@MadScientist: They're all over the place, including dead along the highway. I'm seeing them even during the heat of the day now; I suppose because they're foraging longer due to the drought.

@Curly: Shot from the car, so he might have smelled the car, but no doubt heard me coming.

@Amir: In the DFW area, I don't know. They're all over around here. And I guess because of the drought they're out and about foraging at times during the day you normally wouldn't see them. And hardly a day passes when I don't see one or more dead alongside the road.
