On Top of It

@k@: This was taken with the Nikon 70-300mm VR lens with stabilization on. I also have the D80 and D40, and the D90 has vastly improved exposure metering with the active D lighting function on. In fact, the exposure metering is so much better I may stop shooting in raw mode most of the time. Continuous shooting mode is also way faster than the D80. The D90 is unquestionably the best camera I've ever owned.

@MARIANA: Depends on you define macro. In the old film days, I think it wouldn't have qualified, since it wasn't shot with a macro lens --but by more recent definitions you may be right. BTW, I love them too --all life actually. Especially as I become more involved in photographing it.
