@Magda: For this one it was the Nikon 70-300 VR. In fact, I've taken a lot of photos with that lens. However, I'm finding myself gravitating towards primes, and I think my sharpest and best all around lens may be my Tokina 100mm macro. BTW, I see you're using a D80. I have a D80 and recently got a D90. I love the D80 but love the D90 even more --the faster continuous shooting is great, but the dynamic D-lighting really increases the yield of exposures without blown out highlights.
